We
stock many thousand feet of hardwood lumber for
use in our manufacturing operations. We invite
you to take full advantage of our volume buying
practices in your own projects. All of our lumber
is carefully kiln dried in state of the art kilns
& graded by certified lumber graders according
to the National Hardwood Lumber Association.
Unless otherwise specially noted all of our lumber
is Select & Better or FAS & better as
graded according National Hardwood Lumber Association.
Our
lumber is sold as random width & random length.
For specified width use the S4S price column &
provide width needed when ordering. For specified
width & lengths use the Custom Size column.
Because boards vary in length & width it may
not be possible for us to fill your order to the
exact square feet of material you request. We
allow a 10% overage or shortage on quantity; your
final bill will be adjusted accordingly.
Surfacing
terms you need to know!
- Rough
- Surface is similar to what would be found
at a sawmill. Unless otherwise noted this material
is 1” thick. We do not recommend this for finishing.
- S2S
- Planned on both sides with outside edges
being rough.
- S3S
- Planed on both sides with one edge ripped
straight on a saw
- S4S
- Material will be cut to the width you
specify. To help prevent warping & bowing,
glued up material may be used on all widths
over 5”.
Custom
size
Material
will be cut to the width & length you specify.

milling such as edge sanding, end grain sanding
& thickness planning is available. Please

a quote. Lengths are limited to availability &
vary from specie to specie.
Sanded
Sanding
in available on all planned material, when you
specify this option we machine sand the material
to 150 grit on both sides, the edges remain unsanded.

grading terms!
Natural
Natural
grade material is left as Mother Nature made it
& within the specifications of the National
Hardwood Lumber Association.
Select
Select
is regraded by us to exceed the specifications
of the National Hardwood Lumber Association. With
select grade material we keep some of Mother Natures
markings like mineral, sap, pinholes, wild grain
& so on to a minimum. On smaller order we
watch over the color tones within the order to
maintain a closer match throughout the run.
