All joinery & bottom are adequately glued, 4-way machine pressed & allowed to dry, making the drawer perfectly square & extremely strong. Dovetails are 3/8" long 1/2" wide & 1/2" thick for added strength & high end furniture type appearance. Pricing Method &  Trade Discounts 

To calculate the price of a drawer:

Our pricing on dovetail drawers is very easy. Simply measure the circumference around your drawer & multiply by the appropriate height cost from the table below. That’s It!

 

Example:

For our pricing example we will use an 18” wide x 20” long x 4” high solid maple drawer  

1. Calculate the length in inches around the drawer (length 20 + width 18 x 2) = 76” (we build your drawers to exact dimensions provided, however for pricing we round to the next whole number. A 13 1/2" x 22 1/2" drawer would be calculated as a 14" x 23". 

2. Multiply the length around drawer by the height cost, see table below - in our example  this will be $0.457              

3. Add any options that you have chosen 

4.  Multiply total by your discount (if any applies)        

Our sample drawer would look like this.

Pricing  - Minimum cost for any drawer, before trade discount is $18.00

Pricing is simple, measure around all four sides of your drawer & multiply by the appropriate cost for your drawer height.

Budget Grade Poplar: This is poplar that has been glued up into panels. It is solid material with open knots removed, small knots may be filled, color is natural but normally yields a high amount of white. The only reason we call it budget grade is because the glue lines sometimes do not run straight, they might be on an angle.

 

Natural Soft Maple:  Natural grade material will have some variations in color, open knots are cut out, small knots may be filled. Natural soft maple has a sapwood color of bright white to slight gray cast & the heartwood is brown or brown cast. Natural material normally yields a higher amount of the sapwood than heartwood & may also have some hard maple pieces intermixed, which has the same colors.
